Can I use the megadap2 adaptor with this lens for the Nikon Z ?
Asked by: Allen
You can use it. A few things to consider though, you should support from the lens + body when using handheld. It's heavier than megadap recommendation for 800g lens. The lens has a tripod socket so when mounted on a tripod, the adapter would be supporting the body which is again 800g. It should be fine. I am even considering going this route maybe. It is slightly above manufacturer recommendation so don't go dangling this lens holding onto the body alone for extended periods of time.

Does this lens have a crop factor on full frame E mount cameras?
Asked by: Jonathan
The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens (Sony E) does not have a crop factor on a full-frame camera. The crop factor depends on the size of the sensor, not the lens. All lenses do not have a crop factor on all full-frame cameras and have a crop factor on all APS-C size sensor cameras.

Will canon mount lenses be released as well?
Asked by: Bryan
Currently Sigma does not offer any lenses for the Canon RF mirrorless cameras. They do however make this 14mm f1.8 which can be mounting on a Canon DSLR (EF mount) camera or adapted to a Canon mirrorless RF mount camera: https://bhpho.to/3K3Vcqp

Will this lens be released for the Nikon Z-mount? I certainly hope so as there's no 1st-party equivalent.
Asked by: Ian
Probably not. You can get an autofocus adapter Megadap ETZ-21 to use this lens and most other E-mount lenses without any issues on Nikon Z. Nikon is keeping their mount semi-locked and only allowing third parties to manufacture what they allow. On the bright side, right now an E-mount lens is easier to sell (Sony has much bigger market) and you can use it both on Nikon Z (with adapter) and also Sony E. I have switched almost all of my Nikon Z lenses to Sony E lenses with adapter :)
