The NP-FZ100 USB-C Rechargeable Battery from SmallRig has been engineered for select Sony cameras that use the NP-FZ100 battery. With a 2400mAh capacity, the battery can last for up to 3.8 hours of video recording and up to 680 still shots. Unfortunately it is not possible to charge the SmallRig NP-FZ100 USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery while it is in use in the camera.

Will it show remaining power on the display screen?

I've tested it for about 2 weeks now. Charged it then Put it in my Sony A1 and it read 100%. It's as good as the Sony OEM or better in my opinion. It seems to last longer. It's 2 grams lighter on my gram scale. Not sure what that means. I like the blue color-easier to see in my kit. USC-c charging on the road is ideal as I don't have to bring several bulky sony AC chargers. I don't normally trust aftermarket batteries but this blue one is an exception. I can recommend this battery without reservation.

The SmallRig NP-FZ100 2-Battery Kit with Dual Charger should theoretically charge OEM Sony batteries fully, but they may not charge to 100% capacity.

What is the output voltage? Does it meet the 7.2V criteria?

The included batteries each contain (2) 3.6 volt LI Ion cells so provide an average output voltage of 7.2 volts. The charger provides a current limited charge until the (2) series cells reach about 8.0 volts and then has a voltage limit cut off at 8.40 volts. Just like the original Sony batteries, these batteries should never be discharged below 6.0 volts which represents essentially "0%" remaining charge in a Sony camera.
