Vienna Symphonic Library Big Bang Orchestra: Jupiter is a virtual instrument with a library consisting of the six double French horns playing at Synchron Stage A Vienna. A perfect complement to Big Bang Orchestra: Hercules, Izar, and Kopernikus brass ensembles, this library expands the series with round brass sounds in the lower dynamics, ideal for creating mysterious pianissimos and heroic fortissimos effortlessly right out of the box, great for authentic film and game scoring, trailer music, or sound design.
Big Bang Orchestra: Jupiter includes a rich set of articulations, with up to five velocity layers, variations of short notes, marcatos, real legatos, several dynamic articulations (sfz, sffz, various crescendos and decrescendos), flutter tonguing, trills, rips, and fast repetitions.
All six musicians performed together and were recorded with an array of microphones including individual close mics for each instrument, mid mics, Decca tree (left-center-right), surround, and high-surround outriggers. This gives you more control and more creative options when mixing your sound using the included Synchron Player's internal mixer.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs as standalone software or operates in AU, VST, and AAX formats. Big Bang Orchestra: Jupiter can be combined with the tutti recordings of the Big Bang Orchestra to create an even brassier orchestral sound. It also integrates seamlessly with every module in the Big Bang Orchestra series.
