Loud and Proud
- BBO's sought-after sound is created through a combination of highly skilled musicians with scores of scoring sessions under their belt, Synchron Stage Vienna’s large hall that emphasizes the characteristics of brass instruments, and expert miking by the facility’s chief recording engineer, Bernd Mazagg.
- The library boasts a rich set of articulations, with up to five velocity layers, variations of short notes, marcatos, real legatos, several dynamic articulations (sfz, sffz, various crescendos and decrescendos), flutter tonguing, trills, and fast repetitions.
- The horns of BBO: Kopernikus are completely new recordings that can be combined with the tutti recordings of Big Bang Orchestra to create an even brassier orchestral sound. Synchron Player offers mixer presets that integrate seamlessly with all the other modules of the Big Bang Orchestra. What’s more, the Processed category offers mixer presets such as Compressed, Sparkling, Wall of Trumpets, Outer Space Trumpets, Threatening Sustain, and more that correspond with the brass presets of Big Bang Orchestra: Hercules, Izar, and Jupiter.
Mixer Presets
- It's easy to create the perfect mix for your arrangement with your Big Bang Orchestra mixer presets.
- These are the same presets for Andromeda and Black Eye to guarantee a consistent sound.
- The software provides 6 levels of reverberation and additional processed presets with each of our microphone setups: Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, Ambient, and Wet.
- The factory mixer presets are based on the room microphones, leaving the section microphones disabled. Section microphones (further to the right in the mixer) can be added to emphasize the power of certain sections. Activate additional channels by clicking on the channel name. This will load the samples required for playback, and the faders have been set to good starting points to customize your mix.
- Change the level, panning, delay, and channel EQ settings for each channel; and of course you are free to insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound.
