With a 17.6 lb load capacity at a weight of only 9.7 lb, the AD-80 FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Aluminum Tripod System from SmallRig is a durable, lightweight, and portable support option for professional photographers, videographers, and vloggers. The heavy-duty tripod is constructed with durable, lightweight aluminum, it features a mid-level spreader, and it has an adjustable height range of 34 to 75". It folds down to 36" in length for transport in the included carrying bag.

The fluid head allows you to use the included Manfrotto-style quick release plate or the original DJI RS 2, RS 3, or RS 3 Pro quick release plate with the flip of a simple switch. The 75mm half ball head can pan 360° and tilt +90/-65°, and it can support up to 6.6 lb with its preset counterbalance system with precise control. The snap-in quick release plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws to accommodate all camera types. Other features include a bubble level, 1/4"-20 accessory threads, and a fixed pan bar. It also features adjustable rubber feet.

What's the advantage of this tripod over the AD-01? The specs look very similar.

I think the most valuable difference is have a single lock leg adjustment system like much more expensive tripods like Sachtler. You only have one lock per leg to unlock before adjusting height instead of having to undo two locks on each leg. Worth the extra $ to me.
