Really Right Stuff BZ8-LS Overview

The L-Plate Set for Nikon Z8 from Really Right Stuff is a modular design composed of an Arca-type compatible base plate and L-component that facilitate easy, secure switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations. Laser-engraved center marks on the back of the plate help to keep the camera centered when working atop a tripod or other mounting point.

The L-Plate ensures continued access to the battery door and the camera's ports, all without obstruction of the camera's LCD monitor. The base plate and L-component separate for fine-tuned adjustment to fit your setup. In addition, this CNC-machined plate has a durable Type II black anodized finish, and a threaded accessory mounting socket allows you to attach a camera strap.

The build quality of this American-made product is outstanding. Really Right Stuff clearly knows how to design gear that is both durable and highly functional. I purchased it specifically for landscape photography and long-exposure work on a tripod, and it has performed exceptionally well for those applications.

It's a Z8 RRS modular L-Plate, enough said.

It's from RRS, of course it is fantastic. Fits the Z8 perfectly, as expected. Some don't like the shift from a magnetic to a clip wrench holder, but I don't mind it. I've had it on camera for 4 months so far, and the clips haven't broken yet.

Will this L bracket work with the Z8 battery grip? If not, do you recommend another RRS L bar that does?

Really Right Stuff Modular L-Plate Set for Nikon Z8 is not compatible with the camera battery grip. Really Right Stuff makes the SKU:RRS-9000193 which is designed for the camera and its dedicated battery grip. You can request a pre order through an email to our Sales department.

In order to totally slide the Really Right Stuff Modular L-Plate Set for Nikon Z8 apart, you have to unscrew the plate from the bottom.

The Really Right Stuff Modular L-Plate Set for Nikon Z8 fits tightly on the bottom of the camera. On the side it is not as tight to allow you to access the ports.
