Overview states the 28 mm has a 3.5" min focus dist but the specs states a 9" min focus distance. Which is correct?
The minimum focus distance of the Hasselblad XCD 28mm f/4 P Lens is 8.7" (22 cm).

Is there any reason why this lens would not work with a camera's IBIS? One of your customer reviews states it does not.
Could be a setting or firmware issue. With some testing at the store. It does work.

How does it compare to the XCD 30mm f/3.5 on sharpness and chromatic aberration (both lateral and longitudinal)?
I owned the 30mm 3.5 and is an excellent lens. When I purchased the 28P I spent several days with detailed comparisons on handling and performance. I had never tested 2 lenses that were so close in performance and image quality. But in the end the 28P was every so slightly superior in the majority of cases. Coupled with being half the size and weight and nearly silent shutter I decided to keep the 28P and sold the 30mm.
