While speaker tracking is an important feature when clear and legible video meetings are a priority, additional video feedback options help to establish the Meeting Ultra as a comprehensive and powerful conferencing solution. Speaker Mode will display the active subject prominently while still showing thumbnails of the other participants intently listening. Alternatively, Gallery View provides colleagues equal screen space. Lastly, Global View mode forgoes distinct subject images and instead splits the screen into two images, each displaying the total view captured by each of the two 180° lenses. Manual adjustment of the conferencing view is available, as is the option to set and ignore zone to disable auto-framing in a specific area of the room.
One can hold off on purchasing any audio peripherals along with the Ultra Meeting, as its built-in audio capture and output systems are capable of handling an entire room's worth of chatter. It sports eight omnidirectional beamforming microphones, which help to isolate the audio coming from active participants; these microphones are actively assisted by ambient noise and echo reduction algorithms. Participants located up to 18' from the device will be heard, and the 10W built-in speaker ensures they can clearly hear collaborators on the other side of the call.
