At the heart of the Aspire 5 is a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor which leverages P- and E-cores. Experience enhanced multitasking and application load times with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 SSD, both working together to boost performance across your entire system while also giving you plenty of room to save your most important files, photos, and more. The 15.6" In-Plane Switching (IPS) display features a 1920 x 1080 resolution backed by integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, giving you a clear and smooth image suitable for both work and play. Connect your peripherals to the Aspire 5 with two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, giving you up to 5 Gb/s data transfer speeds, suitable for mice and thumb drives. Or you could use Bluetooth 5.1 technology for wireless devices. Connect to your wireless network with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), giving you internet access so you can connect to your cloud storage, enjoy your streaming media, or take part in online conversations.

Connectivity
You get two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports which can support various devices such as mice, keyboards, external drives, and more. The power adapter that comes with this Acer 15.6" Aspire 5 15 Laptop (and almost all other laptops we sell) will support 100-240 V power, so it can work in any country. You will just need a plug adapter for your region's power outlet.

The charger for this Acer 15.6" Aspire 5 15 Laptop (and most other laptops we carry) support 100-240 V power, and will not need a converter. You may need a plug adapter for the power outlets in your region.

Indeed, Libre Office is a terrific alternative software program which allows you to read and save files in Microsoft Office format(s). What I find interesting and useful is that Libre Office is capable of opening and reading old Microsoft files such as Microsoft Works, which afterwards you can save in Office format e.g. docx or xlsx. Yet, Microsoft office has discontinued this feature of reading their own Works files years ago. I have donated to Libre Office small amounts repeatedly in appreciation.

The Acer 15.6" Aspire 5 Notebook (Black) would work with a 110-240v outlet, be sure to get the proper adapter for the region because it only contains the US plug.
