Capture steady and smooth motion videos with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Boasting a wide range of upgrades over its predecessor, the Osmo Pocket 3 features a 1" CMOS sensor with full-pixel fast focusing, ensuring high-quality, low-noise footage acquisition even in high-contrast environments and with resolutions up to UHD 4K120. Three built-in microphones capture stereophonic sound while reducing ambient noise, and new software enhancements bring ActiveTrack 6.0 to your fingertips for precise subject tracking in both photo and video modes with smart horizontal and vertical shooting modes as well as D-Log M and 10-bit support.
Adjust settings and check the live view of your camera using the integrated 2" touchscreen, which is rotatable to allow for quick orientation selection. The lightweight and very compact 3-axis gimbal stabilizer provides reliability when shooting action sequences or for capturing sporting events and other action-laden content for family videos, concerts, and other live streaming applications. A microSD card slot facilitates internal recording and a rechargeable integrated battery provides operating time of up to 166 minutes when fully charged using an optional USB charger and the included USB-C PD cable. The DJI Mic 2 Clip-On Transmitter/Recorder is a black transmitter with both built-in microphone and onboard recording capabilities for seamless audio recording. This really is one of the best designed devices since the Antikythera mechanism. The hype is real, and I can see why people pay a bit more for this after the price hikes. It is that good. The way the mic pairs up is seamless. The capabilities are impressive. Even though I very much dislike vertical shots, this might change my mind. But I still intend to use it primarily for landscape.

There's a lot to like about the DJI Pocket 3 Camera and I don't really have any strong cons against it, other than maybe a few minor things to note. What I love: It's so portable and easy to use. The carrying case makes it convenient to throw in a bag or the car and take anywhere with you. Just flip the screen and it starts to record in a few seconds. The image quality is awesome, and I've used both 4K60 and the slow motion 4K120 settings. The integration with the included Mic in the Combo is seamless and the audio it gives is just wonderful. Face tracking works nicely, but does keep you in the center of the screen making it a bit hard to put yourself on the left third if you're trying to keep space for YouTube videos and such. Cons (or maybe just minor things really) - No 3.5mm headphone jack to monitor audio. If filming someone you have mic'd up it would be nice to check the audio but there's no way to do that. I suppose you could use the USB-C but I would prefer the ease of the 3.5 as all my monitor headphones use that. One other con and this may or may not be just me.... sometimes the gimbal gets 'lost' if and reaches its limit and you have to manually recover. I'm guessing that's just me pushing it too far. I've tried the different modes (follow, FPV, tilt) and just haven't used it quite enough to know it's limits. Overall, it feels much more fun to use over a cell phone and the video is much more stable. For some reason, I like using the DJI more than I like using my phone for filming myself. There's also the added benefit of being able to hand it to an assistant and have them film while you're shooting (for example when doing a Behind the Scenes shoot). I haven't had the chance yet to use it for a wedding, but I imagine it will make a nice run-n-gun and B-roll stuff for highlight videos.
