The Asus P5B Deluxe has SATA ports, so modern drives such as the WD 14TB WD140EFGX Red Plus SATA III 3.5&quot; Internal NAS HDD will be backward compatible with it. However, you will not be able to achieve full speeds with modern drives as there is a substantial spec difference between SATA and SATA III.
