Derived from the award-winning Astra Modulation Machine, the Brigade Chorus and Vibrato from Universal Audio delivers the warm analog modulation effects of the legendary BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble in a modern, highly compact form factor for the modern guitarist. Capable of fattening up any guitar with its perfectly emulated vintage analog preamp and the subtle to wild textures of its two effects, the Brigade Chorus and Vibrato pedal will liven up any pedalboard setup.
A switch lets you select between either Chorus, for subtle detuned textures, or Vibrato, for warm warbled sounds. You can flip the Preamp switch to color your signal with the analog preamp model without any vibrato or chorus FX active. A second switch lets you flip between true bypass, for an uncolored and pure analog to analog connection, or buffered bypass, for stronger signal integrity over long cable runs and complex pedalboard arrangements. Like the original 1976 stomp, you get Rate, Depth, and Output level control for easy but flexible adjustment of your modulation effects. A USB-C connection is also provided for firmware updates via the UA Connect app.
