Really Right Stuff BGFX100II Reviews
Great Add On to the Battery Grip
Fits perfectly. Makes attaching to the tripod simple and certain. Also makes changing camera orientation easy.
Mediocre, not live to its name
Not typical RRS quality. I had the L bracket from RRS for my GFX 100S and it is beautiful and fits like a glove. But this one for the GFX 100 II is a whole different design. It looks like a cheap no name bracket, and it doesn’t sit tight without applying extreme pressure to the base screw. The whole bracket relies on a single screw and a non form fitting front edge to hold the position, which does not seem to be adequate for such a heavy camera. Not to mention the cheap and loose plastic clips for the hex wrench. Returned it for a Peipro made bracket. The base plate of the Peipro has a much tighter fit and has edges around the full body and tabs on the bottom to better secure the camera. The vertical plate of RRS is more solid though. Wish I could mix the two.
