Kirk NC-180-600 Reviews
Great Replacement Collar
By James
Rated 5 out of 5
Date: 2025-07-16
I bought this to replace the Nikon collar on my Nikon Z 180-600mm lens. I had too many close calls with the original collar coming loose and almost falling off. I use this lens for sporting events and keep the collar loose with a little bit of friction so that I can quickly and easily rotate the camera to get a vertical shoot. Over the course of the game the collar would continue to loosen more and fall off. The Kirk lens collar requires a separate action to release the collar so I can operate with the collar loose enough to rotate without worrying about it falling off. Great peace of mind.
Expensive but well worth it

This is a high quality item but it offers a piece of mind you won't get from a cheap knock off. Is your gear worth protecting?

Can you attach Peak Design anchors with camera strap to it?
I have attached my PD anchors to a Magpul QD sling swivel. The sling swivel then snaps into the QD socket on the underside of the lens foot. The setup works well for me.
