It supports observation with a digital compass and inclinometer, along with video recording and image capture. The USB-C port and included cable allow for the uploading of recorded files to a computer. Powering the device via an external power source is supported as well, while offering a 1.5-hour runtime on a single CR123A battery that can be extended to 5.5 hours using two batteries with the included battery extender. A full-featured unit weighing slightly more than half a pound, you can use the Sidekick 640 as a handheld device or attach it to a head harness or helmet with an optional mount for hands-free operation.
