Lighter and more compact than its PVS-14 counterpart, the MNVD-51 offers a 51° field of view that's wider than its peers and can be mounted on your firearm or optional headgear. At the core of this night vision device is a ghost white phosphor, 3rd-generation image intensifier tube (IIT) with a 2376 Figure of Merit that converts the infrared images into visible ones. To improve close-range visibility and allow reading maps in total darkness, the device has a built-in illuminator. The composite body, designed to withstand impact and extreme temperatures, allows you to venture almost anywhere. It offers heavily knurled rings and adjusters for a nonslip grip and a wide winged rubber eyecup for comfortable contact with your face and to prevent leakage of light.

The Sidekick 640 Mini Thermal Monocular from Armasight is equipped with a 640 x 480 12μm high-sensitivity infrared detector and high-resolution 1024 x 768 OLED display. The high-sensitivity built-in thermal detector provides you with a clear view in even total darkness. It supports observation with a digital compass and inclinometer, along with video recording and image capture. The USB-C port and included cable allow for the uploading of recorded files to a computer. Powering the device via an external power source is supported as well, while offering a 1.5-hour runtime on a single CR123A battery that can be extended to 5.5 hours using two batteries with the included battery extender. A full-featured unit weighing slightly more than half a pound, you can use the Sidekick 640 as a handheld device or attach it to a head harness or helmet with an optional mount for hands-free operation.
