Can a lens hood be used with this filter, specifically for a sony 24-70 2.8 v1?
No, the Nano-X Variable ND filter will not work on the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM I with the lens hood on. Both the polarizing and variable ND knobs on the filter prevent the lens hood from mounting on the camera. If you use fixed ND filters, you can use the lens hood.
