874 Soft Tripod Case is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Bag This bag holds my Sachtler nicely. It is the best bag for the price around. Solid sidewalls. I would feel comfortable flying with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod Bag I have various tripods (Cartoni, Sachtler, Manfrotto) but don't own a Miller one though was almost tempted to buy a Compass 20. I did need a new bag, though, and always thought the Miller ones looked great and seemed reasonably priced so I picked this one up. It is a GREAT tripod bag for smaller tripods with 75mm bowls - I'm using this one to carry an FSB-8 on CF solo legs but I found I could also easily fit my CF mono-pod in the bag with it as well. I like the triangular shape - it not only allows the bag to stay put on carts but it also sits flat on your back when you're carry it via the padded strap that's included. The strap, btw, is THE MOST COMFORTABLE one I've ever used in my 20+ years as a shooter. The way the bag & strap are engineered makes it incredibly easy to carry something else with that arm - something I've never experienced with other gear bags. It's like it's glues to your back when you sling it over your shoulder. Likewise, the smaller carrying straps are nice, too, as they are offset toward the end of the bag instead of centered. Because the head is generally heavier than the legs, this means that it actually balances nicely in the hand when your carrying via those instead of the shoulder strap. Inside, there's a large, zippered storage compartment but the bag features something else that's great: extensive internal padding to protect the head during transport that flips out the way when putting the tripod in. It's a nice added feature that helps you worry less about not using a hard case every day. This bag is so great and well designed that it makes me wish I had a Miller tripod to put in it, lol, but, alas I was seduced by the greater flexibility of the Sachtler counterbalance settings... As I use a lot of different cameras throughout the week, I needed something with finer adjustments. If the Compass line had 10 or even 8 instead of 3-5, I'd have scooped one up in a heartbeat!
