I was impressed by this purchase from the moment it arrived. The box the lens ships in is even of high quality (much nicer that Nikon Z lens packaging imho) I've only had this lens for a few days and have snapped about 60 text shots, but it far exceeds my expectations in image quality and built quality. I was a bit nervous ordering such an inexpensive lens, but sure am glad I left preconceived ideas behind and took a change. A winner at this price, or double the price.

This is Perfect for walking around lens.

This is a decent built quality for a walk-around lens. Sharp, light, and easy to use in low light in any situation. It has a nice price for the wide-angle lens;

Yes, if you want a lens that has autofocus and is very small and portable at this price range the Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 Lens (Nikon Z) would work well for astrophotography. It does have a wide angle field of view on a full frame Nikon Z camera that will allow you to get a wide shot of the sky. It also has the 2.8 aperture that offers good quality in low light.

The Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 Lens (Nikon Z) is not a fisheye lens. Fisheye lenses tend to start in the 16mm or wider range, and the product would specifically state "fisheye" in the description.

Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 Lens (Sony E) has a 52mm front threaded accesory to connect lens caps and filters. The 43.3mm is the diagonal line cover by the full frame sensor.
