It's the first wide-to-tele zoom lens to be added to the S-series lineup and features a vast focal length range that allows you to effectively capture portraits and landscapes without having to rely on multiple lenses.
5-Axis Dual I.S. 2 Image Stabilization
Shoot handheld with confidence with built-in 5-axis image stabilization. Providing up to 6.5 stops of correction, the Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 delivers sharp imagery at considerably low shutter speeds.
Lens Construction
Featuring one aspherical lens element and four ED elements, the Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 is built to uphold image quality and prevent optical aberrations. A 9-bladed circular diaphragm creates flattering, round bokeh. The front lens element has a fluorine coating that helps prevent oil- and water-based substances from sticking to it.

Two switches are featured on the lens barrel, allowing you to make quick adjustments while you shoot. One switch is for swapping between AF and MF. The other is to disable the lens's image stabilization.

All-Around Focal Length
With a zoom range of 28-200mm, this lens allows you to photograph an array of subjects without having to worry about switching between multiple lenses. So if you're a variety shooter, you're able to capture impressive landscapes and portraits alike. Simultaneously you're equipped with a vast amount of perspectives to choose from when capturing images.
Impressively Mobile

The Panasonic Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 MACRO O.I.S. Lens (Leica L) image stabilization should work when used on the Leica SL. Note, it has not been tested on that model.

In the Panasonic Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 MACRO O.I.S. Lens the aperture must be controlled through the camera body. Please make sure the camera can electronically communicate with the lens.

The answer from the “Panasonic Team” is not correct. Measured from the front of the lens; MFD at 28mm is 1”, 100mm is 18” and 200mm is 20”.

You wont be able to mount the Panasonic Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 MACRO O.I.S. Lens (Leica L) to a Fuji X-mount. There is not enough flange distance for an adapter to be used.
