I have a Color Munki | Display device that seems to be working fine. Does the Display 123 offer any significant upgrade?
Asked by: John
Much of the power and usability of the Calibrite Display 123 Colorimeter comes from the included workflow software, which greatly adds to the value of the device, when compared against the Color Munki and similar devices.

hi! I have an LG Ergo 4k monitor that I need it to calibrate to match my MacBook Pro M1 colors. Would this be able to do that?
Asked by: Isai
Yes. You can use the Calibrite Display 123, together with the free Calibrite profiler software, to calibrate the built in display of your macbook Pro M1, and also to calibrate your LG Ergo 4K monitor. With both screens calibrated, you will have consistent brightness and color across both displays. This will also work for mac and Windows laptops or desktops, and almost any external display connected to the computer.

When connected to a Mac or PC running a supported OS (Windows 10 & 11, macOS Catalina and newer), we would not expect any issues using the Display 123 with its calibrite PROFILER software. Current version is calibrite PROFILER 1.3.2.

Would this be good for accurate CMYK prints?
Asked by: Midori
While the Calibrite Display 123 Colorimeter would be suitable for ensuring accurate screen colors, for capture to print CMYK support, the Calibrite ColorChecker Studio, BH #CACCSTUDIO, would allow for accurate prints.

What is the difference between the Calibrate ...

What is the difference between the Calibrate Display 123 and the Calibrite Display Pro/Plus HL Colorimeters?
Asked by: Susan
If you'd like to purchase a new display calibrator, we would highly recommend either the new Calibrite Display Pro HL or Display Plus HL. There is a great comparison chart showing the capabilities of the new HL models below. Some highlights for the Display Pro HL and Display Plus HL devices over previous Calibrite and X-Rite display calibrators are:USB-C/TB3/TB4 direct connection for faster data transfer, resulting in quicker measurement times and more sampling. HL models ship with a USB-C to USB-A adapter for connecting to USB-A. The Pro HD and Plus HL accurately measure Mini-LED (like the new Apple XDR displays) and OLED displays to create profiles to their maximum gamut that will meet or exceed P3 High-luminance capabilities (3000 nits for the Pro HL and 10,000 nits for the Plus HL). They ship with a colorful travel storage pouch for travel and/or storage. In addition, the Display Plus HL device is the only Calibrite device that is "HDR-ready". As the ability to calibrate HDR content evolves, only the Calibrite Display Plus HL device will support these software innovations. You have a true HDR workflow in the calibrite PROFILER software application, which will only be available on the Calibrite Display Plus HL device. The Calibrite Display 123 is an extremely simple and streamlined entry-level display calibrator with very limited functionality. The target White Point is fixed at D65 (or 6500K) and is not changeable at all. The Gamma is fixed at 2.20 and not changeable. There are two choices for brightness: 120 cd/m2 or Native (will use the current brightness level). The patch set size is fixed at 118 patches and is not changeable. If you currently use the default settings in X-Rite or Calibrite software (D65 White Point, 120 cd/m2 Luminance, & 2.20 Gamma) and don't have a desire to change those target settings, the Display 123 is perfect for you.
