Key Features
  • Daylight-Balance Color Transparency Film
  • ISO 100/21° in E-6/CR-56/C6R Process
  • Super-Fine Grain Structure
  • Vivid and Natural Colors
Fujichrome Provia 100F Professional RDP-III from Fujifilm is a daylight-balanced color transparency film that exhibits a super-fine grain structure with vivid and naturally appearing colors and rich tonal rendition. It has a medium-speed nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21° when processed in E-6, CR-56, or C6R processes and can effectively be pulled one half stop or pushed two stops with minimal variations in color balance and gradation. Excellent reciprocity characteristics also make this film highly suitable for use during long exposures and ensures consistent film speeds and coloring across multiple and extended exposures. Medium overall contrast and saturation make this film ideal for use in a wide range of photographic applications and is especially well-suited for use in product, landscape, nature, portraiture, and fashion photography.

The Best Daylight Color Slide 35mm Film

I've been using Fuji Provia 100F film for years for professional work. I can't say enough good things about it. Just lovely, realistic color. My only worry is that its availability has become erratic. May the Gods of Photography smile on us and persuade Fuji to continue making this wonderful film.

My First Choice Color Slide Film

My journey in photography began in 1978 with the purchase of a Minolta XE-5 with a 50mm lens (I still have it today), and began shooting Kodachrome 64. Today I continue to shoot film. Kodachrome 64 is gone and my search for another side film led me to Fujifilm. I settled on Provia 100F. The colors are bright and true and I get that film look that I like. Try a roll or two. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

question

Are the rolls stored in a refrigerator? Also, what is the expiration date on them?
Asked by: Anonymous
B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Rotate the box until you see a small thermometer on the right hand side of the box. The expiration date should be on the upper left hand side of the box just above the RDPIII 135
