A lightweight prime ideal for portraiture, the black AF 56mm f/1.8 Lens from TTArtisan is designed for use with APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a portrait-length full-frame equivalency of 84mm. Capturing images in low-light conditions is no issue with its bright maximum f/1.8 aperture. It features a minimum focusing distance of 19.7" and has a stepping motor to drive the autofocus, which helps enable quiet and speedy performance. One extra-low dispersion (ED) element reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations to achieve greater clarity and accuracy.

TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8 Reviews
Sharpness for Less
This is an amazingly sharp lens and when you consider the price it's a steal. The only negative is that with a crop factor of 1.5 it is an 84mm equivalent lens. It's good for portraits and street photography but not so much for close-ups. If this were a camera branded lens you would pay many times more for it. Get it before it's discovered by many and the price goes up. If you don't like it you can return it. B&H has a liberal policy and one of the reasons why I buy my equipment from them.
At This Price I Have No Complaints
I bought this for our Sony a6000. It's been a great addition to our simple camera kit. It's well built and takes great portraits. We wanted a lens that can get the job done and we wouldn't be afraid if something unfortunate were to happen to it. This totally checks those boxes.
