UGREEN 35260 Overview

With the UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus 4-Bay NAS Enclosure, you'll be able to store and share personal and public files, videos, and pictures with friends and family with ease. The quad bays plus the two M.2 slots can provide up to 96TB of storage. The 2.5GbE port and the 10GbE port allow for high-speed file transfers. While the DXP4800 Plus does come with 8GB of DDR5 RAM, it is also expandable up to 16GB. It is also powered by a 12th Gen Intel Pentium Gold 5-Core processor. There is even a HDMI port, which supports 4K, allowing you to turn the DXP4800 Plus into a media server for home entertainment. With other features, like professional data security, smart classification, and access with a single app, the DXP4800 Plus provides ample storage for personal and home use.

Max Storage Capacity
The DXP4800 Plus features four drive bays for 3.5 or 2.5" hard drives, supporting 22TB in each bay, for a total of 88TB. There are also two M.2 slots for additional storage, supporting 4TB in each slot. Add them all together and you get up to 96TB of storage space.
Supported RAID Modes
The DXP4800 Plus supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10 modes. If you prefer to use the drives separately, there is also a JBOD option.
12th Gen Intel Pentium Gold Performance
The DXP4800 Plus is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Pentium Gold 5-Core processor and 8GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 16GB). The 12th Gen Intel processor delivers both performance and power efficiency.

First NAS and I'm Impressed!

For the past few years, I've been looking into getting a NAS to start out with but everything else seemed too complex to set up, not as user friendly to use, etc. UGREEN released this NAS and from all the research done so far it has shown to be easy to set up, super user friendly, and just great build quality. Silent operation, easy to attach storage, accepts both HDDs and SSDs for fast caching, remote server is very stable. I couldn't have been happier!

NO CLOUD BACK UP for UGREEN NAS

Functionally, as a NAS, this unit was decently easy to set up and it works very well like it should. HOWEVER, UGREEN does not support cloud-based backups to companies like Backblaze. It currently only supports cloud backup to Microsoft One Drive and Google Drive which MAX OUT at 5TB of storage (Microsoft). There is currently NO WAY to cloud backup the amount of data this NAS is capable of storing. The only way to backup this NAS is to purchase ANOTHER UGREEN NAS that functions as your backup. This is a real disappointment and I can't find anywhere where this is explained on any descriptions of the UGREEN NAS...I would have purchased a synology NAS had I known.

Green website says each bay can handle 24tb and nvm2 slots can handle 8tb. Is this the same device or perhaps an older model?
