The VB99 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or by using the USB-C input/output with a 65W PD fast charger. The USB-C and USB-A ports are on a separate circuit and can output simultaneously. The button allows you to set display preferences, as well as set the battery to discharge mode.

What’s the difference between the SE and the regular VB99?
Both the SmallRig VB99 SE Mini V-Mount Battery (6800mAh) and the SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery (99Wh), B&H # SM3580, have the same capacity and port types. One way the two batteries differ would be the design of each battery's shell. The SE has grooves for better in hand grip and the addition of a 1/4"-20 thread in the base of the battery. The other major difference is that the SE's power button offers a little more functionality, as it can be pressed in a specific way to alter the brightness of the display, can change what the display shows when charging/discharging, and force the external ports to discharge.
