I like shooting this stock a lot. Great colors and feeling from this film. I would give this stock a 5 star review if it was a little cheaper in price-point.

I only purchased this because it was the only color negative film that was in stock with DX code (which my point and shoot camera from the 90s needs). I actually got better results than my Portra 800 roll when using flash and bright daylight!

Go-To Day-to-Day Film

First, I want to emphasize how much I love this film. It's my go to film for day-to-day shooting, especially in a point and shoot. It's easy to find near me, handles most lighting conditions well, and the notorious Fuji colors are my absolute favorite. However, I've found that it favors certain cameras I have over others. I used to have an old point and shoot that I exclusively shot this film in, because every shot came out nicely. Conversely I have a newer Pentax that I bought that handles most films great, but every roll of Superia I've shot with it comes out looking flat, dull, just kind of bland. Either way, I would highly recommend everyone try this one, still my go-to for all around shooting.

It's hard to get the films in a responsible price anymore. B&H has it.

Wasn't this discontinued by Fujifilm or am I mistaken? Can someone explain what they're doing? I've heard they are discontinuing certain stocks or even only making it only in singles or 3 packs.

If one needs to know the expiration date of certain film like the FUJIFILM Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400 Color Negative Film, one would call the B&H store, and get connected to ext:1540 to get the specific expiration date.
