Zoom H1 XLR Overview

Built as an ideal companion for modern content creators, the H1 XLR from Zoom is a portable audio recorder that excels at recording audio for video. Sporting two XLR-1/4" TRS combo mic/line inputs, a 3.5mm stereo jack for aux and lav input, and 32-bit float recording for huge dynamic range, H1 XLR supports a wide range of applications.

The low-noise mic preamps sport phantom power for professional condenser mics, and the 3.5mm input provides plug-in power for lavaliers, letting you easily record podcasts, direct feeds from mixers, audio for video shoots, and much more. The USB-C connection offers easy connectivity with computers and smart devices for live streaming, 2x2 audio interface duties, or optional bus power. The H1 XLR supports battery power via two AA batteries and power supply input (both sold separately). The integrated mixer and high-contrast OLED display make operation smooth and intuitive.

Ideal Applications
  • Perfect for mounting on your video rig to record great audio from shotgun or wireless mics
  • Ideal for stereo field recording, as 32-bit float allows you to capture roaring engines and delicate whispers of nature with clarity
  • Use the H1 XLR and two of your favorite mics to easily record podcasts anywhere you go
  • Capture live band performances or DJ sets by taking a stereo feed from your mixing board

About battery... what kind of energy it uses? And how long does a charge/battery lasts?

The Zoom H1 XLR Portable Audio Recorder for Video (BH # ZOH1XLR) supports battery power via two AA batteries and power supply input (both sold separately). Two double AA alkaline batteries may last up to 10 hours of continuous recording. When phantom-powering XLR microphones the battery life will be far less. Zoom AD-17 AC Adapter for Select Zoom Devices (B&H # ZOAD17): https://bhpho.to/3SNT6yZ It may also be connected to a USB powerbank.
