The transmitters included with the RODE Wireless Micro 2-Person Ultracompact Wireless Microphone System with USB-C Connector (2.4 GHz, Black) will only work with the USB-C, Lightning, or camera-mount receivers for the RODE Wireless Micro System. The Wireless Micro transmitters are not compatible with the receivers from the RODE Wireless GO II, Wireless ME, or Wireless PRO Wireless Microphone Systems, or with the built-in wireless receivers in the RODECaster Pro II, RODECaster Duo, RODECaster Video, RODECaster Video-S, or Streamer X Production Consoles.

Will this USB-V connector fit with an iPhone case on the 16 Pro Max?

The design and thickness of iPhone cases can vary, so it really depends on the actual case you have and the amount of space it allows for the USB-C connector. The USB-C receiver for the RODE Wireless Micro 2-Person Ultracompact Wireless Microphone System with USB-C Connector (2.4 GHz, Black) will attach to some smartphones that are mounted in cases, but may not be compatible for use with all types of cases.

According to the manufacturer, while the RODE Wireless Micro 2-Person Ultracompact Wireless Microphone System with USB-C Connector (2.4 GHz, Black), B&H # ROWIMICROC, is not designed for PC use, it can technically be connected via USB-C to a computer. Does this work only with the Rode App or can you just plug into your phone and use?

Rode sent me the item out early. I can plug it into my iPhone and it automatically works. I don't have to do anything at all. It just works. I can record sound in my videos and the voice app.
