AGO 796001 Overview

The AGO Film Processor offers a contemporary alternative to traditional film-processing methods. The first of its kind, the AGO Film Processor utilizes time compensation instead of temperature regulation to ensure proper development and to preserve up to 60% of the chemicals. Its standard set allows for processing of 35mm and 120 film formats with the capability of expanding to 4 x 5 and 8 x 10 with additional reels and tanks. Additionally, it comfortably develops color film and with the RA-4 capability it can even develop color prints.

This system offers preprogrammed chemical kit settings from other brands and allows the user to add their own or download new ones via the AGO web user interface.

Time Compensation
The sensor and algorithm used by the AGO system adjusts time according to the temperature of the chemicals so you don't have to remain in constant alert to the shifts.  AGO takes care of the rest by continuously monitoring the temperature and automatically adjusting the processing time.
Automated Agitation
The AGO Film Processor performs rotational agitation compared to the traditional vertical or inversion agitation, helping the user save up to 60% of their chemicals. Although this is the recommended setting, the system features the vertical stick agitation mode as well, enabling the flexibility to adjust the default agitation speed and intervals for both modes

AGO Film Processor: Game Changer

The AGO Film Processor is an absolute game-changer for anyone serious about film development. What really sets this machine apart is its real-time temperature monitoring and automatic adjustment of development times it takes all the guesswork out of the process. That’s a huge deal, especially when working with E-6 slide film, which has six very specific steps that need to be nailed precisely. This thing doesn’t just make your workflow easier it makes it faster and more efficient. I’ve noticed a serious reduction in chemical use too, which is great for both your wallet and the environment. Whether you’re a longtime film shooter or just diving into home developing, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s completely redefined how I approach processing film.

Practical and reliable

Although I have only developed one 120 b&w film, I have already really liked the result and the practicality and reliability of the entire AGO system. In the past, I have used several b&w development methods, from the manual process of inverting the tanks to the rotary tank, but without temperature control. The AGO is truly a fail-safe system and is very practical and easy to use. I will basically use it to develop 120 and 4x5 films, color and b&w.
