Would two of these provide enough light for a first dance at a wedding reception in a dark room for photography? We just need enough light for our cameras (D850's) to focus.
Asked by: Emily
Yes! They are extremely bright. I only have one for my wedding films and am looking to buy another to have at another angle.

This light works on DSLR cameras ??
Asked by: Yadiel
This light would produce too much heat to be used on a DSLR camera, as it could potentially damage it.

question

How do you know if your battery is running low? Is there any indication or does the light just turn off? I would hate for it to go off in the middle of an interview. How long do the batteries last meaning in years?
Asked by: Jeff
Ive only used the light during wedding portraits, so not for any extended period. There is no indicator on battery. Ive owned mine for over 2 years.

question

I am looking for an on-camera light. Would this mount on the hotshoe of cameras?
Asked by: Victor S.
Yes this is the best light to get. I have owned a couple over the years as a fact for over 20 years. This light I got a power pack to go with it. This light is good, heavy duty, well made and can take 50 or 100 watt bulbs. Best investment I ever made and is still made with the same quality as 20 + years ago. DKN

question

Hi.. I have a Canon 5D Mark II and I want to film indoor and sometimes outdoor.. I want to know if this is suitable for my camera.. I was also hesitating with your Bescor LED-70 Constant Video / Photo Light with Battery and Charger.. Can you provide me feedback upon those two items?thanks
Asked by: Fred T.
My company has two of these ID Light's and we swear by them. They come with a 100-watt bulb (55-watt pre-installed) and is brighter than a car headlight (these are actually automotive light bulbs). But more importantly, you can spot or flood the light, which no other light can do as far as we know. However, you say you have a 5D Mark II. This light requires an Anton Bauer PowerTap. I believe Lowel makes a cigarette lighter plug version. That, coupled with a Bescor cigarette lighter plug battery would possibly be the best setup in my opinion. I also believe they make a 120V wall plug version of the ID-Light and you can mount it on a light stand, separate of your camera, for more flexibility.Bottom line: I swear by the ID-Light, but if you're not using Anton Bauer ENG news cameras, you probably want the Bescor LED one or a different version of the ID-Light.

question

What battery/charger do you recommend with this? Any Li-ion
Asked by: Ronald S.
Goto your local electrical component supplier with your battery, a 12v generic are available. They will advise on the amps and wattage.I also purchased a light power supply so I can operate direct from the mains. That way you can do both. All the best.
