As an XCD P-series lens, this lens prioritizes portability and nimbleness and this 75mm option sports a faster-than-usual f/3.4 maximum aperture for improved depth of field control and handheld use in available lighting.

Flattering Field of View
Equivalent to a 59mm lens on full-frame, this slightly long normal/slightly short portrait-length lens offers a versatile field of view that suits full-length solo portraits and group shots, as well as offering a more selective perspective with street, landscape, and still life subjects.
The maximum f/3.4 aperture is slightly faster than other P-series lenses, suiting the portrait nature of this lens and affording more control over depth of field.
The optical design include aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements, which contribute to sharp and color-correct image quality that matches the high-resolution demands of 100MP medium format sensors.
Fast and Intuitive Operation
The autofocus system utilizes both a stepping motor and a small, lightweight focusing group to realize fast and responsive autofocus performance with high precision. This internal focusing design also benefits manual focus operation for smoother, more predictable handling.
A small-but-powerful leaf shutter system offers a range of shutter speeds from 1/2000 sec to 68 min with flash sync possible at all speeds.
Elegant and Reliable Design
Designed to be as small and portable as possible, this lens weighs 14 oz and measures 2.8"-long when attached to the camera body. Compared to the XCD 65mm f/2.8, this lens is 45% lighter and 24% shorter, making it better suited to street, travel, and on-location photography.
Streamlined metal lens barrel includes a single focusing ring, which is engraved with the 'H' logo for improved feel. The lens also has its name engraved on top of the barrel.

Hasselblad XCD 75mm f/3.4 P Reviews
Best in its class!

I continue to be impressed with the X2D 100 C!
I rented the the 90 mm 2.5 V and the 75 mm P to test out.
Decided to buy the 75 mm. These are pictures with it :super sharp. I actually feel the micro contrast is actually better with the 75 . (although the formal tests online microscopically favor the 90mm).
Absolutely happy with my decision-I was simply interested in the best photographic outcome(not cost-effectiveness, the very slightly slower focus speed of the 75P not withstanding).
I wrote this review because I felt the formal reviews and the price of the 90 mm seem to suggest it is the absolute winner in all photographic regards-I humbly disagree.
Definitely a subjective matter, though …
Shout out to B&H for their consistent QC👌

Sharpness is better than 55V - a lot better
Price is 40% less than 90V
This lens should be called PV, not just P.

Can this lens be mounted on the XH converter 0,8? If so what does the focal length become and what is the effective aperture?

The Hasselblad XCD 75mm f/3.4 P Lens (Hasselblad X) is not compatible with the Hasselblad 0.8 XH Converter for HC or HCD Lens to X System Cameras.
