This Studio Bass Flute Crossgrade from VI Bass Flute Standard Library from Vienna Symphonic Library features a full set of articulations, offering various short and long notes, legato (including fast legatos that let you play trills), crescendos and diminuendos, sfz, sffz, pfp, flutter tongue, and half and whole tone trills. The bass flute has a curved headpiece allowing the flautist to play this large instrument, which despite its name plays its lowest octave in the tenor range.
The samples were recorded relatively dry at the Silent Stage, making it easy to place each instrument exactly where you want in the virtual stage stereo field, The library has been optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player, but it is compatible with DAWs running on Windows and macOS that support AU, AAX Native, VST, and VST3 protocols. Meticulously planned and executed mixer presets place the instrument on its ideal spot onstage, resulting in a production-ready sound out of the box.
