The Pliant Technologies PBT-VMNT-IPRT IndiPro Tools V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate, when used with the PAC-RTM-SMU Universal Single RT Mounting Bracket (available separately), allows any CrewCom IP65-rated Radio Transceiver (RT) to connect to a fiber or copper CrewNet network in locations where AC power is unavailable. This solution is ideal for deploying RTs at extended distances from a hub or control unit, especially in environments without access to shore power—enabling precise RT placement wherever communication coverage is required. The adapter plate supports any industry-standard V-Mount battery, providing up to 16 hours of continuous power for an RT.
NOTE: Battery-powered operation requires a PBT-LI98-VMNT V-Mount Li-Ion Battery and Charger (available separately), as well as the PAC-RTM-SMU Single Transceiver Multi-Use Mounting Bracket (available separately).
