    Canon 100EG reviews

Gadget Bag 100EG is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 186.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for a small kit This bag easily holds the following items:Canon SX40 HS CameraCanon 430EX II FlashCanon 100 HS Camera2 x 67mm filtersin the main compartment. There is almost 2 inches of space above them to the top of the bag, so room to put other items in there from time to time - although not having the camera at the top would be annoying. The front pocket easily holdsSpare batteries for the camerasSpare batteries for the flashGepe Extreme Card Safe for 4 Memory CardsIn the top pocket (under the lid) I currently haveLens Cleaning PenMicrofibre clothbut there's room in there for a few more flat items too - for example a package of lens cleaning tissues would easily fit in there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Matters I use it to store my prime leneses. It is just the right size for my needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Small Let's start positive - it has a very nice look, and it is very well made, it does't look cheap at all and you'll really like the look of it on your shoulder. Problem is - the size. It's about as big as a common DSLR holster horizontally. Some people say they can fit a camera body with two lenses in it - so I checked it out, you sure can, but in such a tight way that I don't want my gear to be held. I also went ahead and measured it - 23 cm, just as mentioned, so no one is fooling anybody here. me suggestion - go and take a look on the store, to my taste this one is too big for a camera with a zoom, I prefer a holster instead, and to small to carry extra gear safely.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for PowerShot; not good for DSLR's I purchased this gadget bag shortly after having purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T1i DSLR. The bag will hold the camera and the 18-55 MM Lens but that's about all. I was able to squeeze the Canon 270EX External Flash into the case, but I'm intending to purchase an 18-200MM lens and there is absolutely no way that this will fit in the bag. On a positive note, the gadget back is constructed very well and affords adaquate protection, but as mentioned there simply isn't enough room for this to be consided worthwhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Is good but is bad This bag is very handy, but it is a little small. This bag is not spacious enough to comfortably fit a full grown SLR and it definitive wouldn't fit 3 to 4 lenses(as described) this true only if you want your gear to be all batched together. This bag is just for that, Gadgets, put 1 to 2 lens, a flash, a slave flash, filters, business card, memory cards, and others small stuff. do not bother trying to fit a 70-300mm lens or any relative long lens, it wouldn't fit in(the dividers are not long enough). This bag no longer fill my needs, it was okay for me when I had less gear but that's no longer the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different Use I did not purchase this bag for my SLR; I purchased it for my Canon G12 (compact camera with RAW and manual controls). It just would not accommodate my Canon 7D (SLR) with 2 telephoto lens plus more lenses and flash. It is perfect for the G12 and the external flash. Plenty of room for SD cards and extra camera and flash batteries. The material and zippers are very durable. I like the fact the it can be carried by just grabbing the top handle, throwing it over my shoulder with the shoulder strap, or getting out the waist belt. Canon has done a good job of folding and hiding the waist belt inside a pocketed area, so it is not in the way while not in use. Bottom line...I think Canon has miss represented this bag. There's no way this bag accommodates an SLR, 2 to 3 lenses, and accessories. For my use...it is a 5 star.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Bag...but too small for me. I have a Canon 7D. I also own this bag but in the larger size...love it. But to go to the park with grandchildren I wanted to only bring a few items...so we purchased this bag upon reading what it could hold. I am only able to put my 7D with lens attached (17-40)...plus flash...barely...and I mean barely! I have to squeeze bag closed in order to zip it. Honestly I wanted this bag to work for me...and I will keep it...but I wish it had room for 1 more modest size lens. But to do that I would have to not carry flash...kind of a tough choice. Sort of need both, an extra lens and flash as essentials. But it is sturdy, and just like its big brother, but smaller....and cost is more than fair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for traveling light! I got my first DSLR this Christmas, and I wanted a bag that was easy to travel with to motivate me to use the camera right away. My only complaint is that my Rebel T2i fits somewhat awkwardly with a lens - initially, the best way it would fit was with the lens facing down and the screen facing up which I wasn't thrilled about. But once I figured out that you can remove and rearrange the padded lining, it seems to fit nicely along with my second lens - a 50mm - and possibly an external flash once I get it. Otherwise I really like it! It's very discrete and lightweight - I didn't even realize it had the waist buckle until I looked on here again! (Bonus!) Like others have said - it won't hold all of your equipment if you're a serious photographer, but if you know where you are shooting, you can plan on just taking a couple of lenses and travel light. So excited to put it into action!
