Epson S041331 reviews

Premium Photo Paper Semi-Gloss (8.5 x 11", 20 Sheets) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Quality Photo Paper This semi-gloss paper has a nice finely grained surface, unlike other semi-gloss or luster papers I've seen out there. I use it with an Epson professional printer and the results are great. However, when I received this paper I noticed that though it was carefully packaged and no damage was done to the outer box, the entire plastic-wrapped ream of paper had one corner slightly bent! Whenever I printed anything, some black ink would always stain that corner because it wasn't smooth. Thankfully, I never need the borders around my prints, and when I do, the print is small enough that the corners can be cropped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great with Epson 2200 This paper has a little gloss but not the sharp, inexpensive shine of most glossy photo papers. This paper captures subtle colors. It has a quality feel and lasts well with the Epson pigment dye inks. We live in the Northeast where the pollution can cause print colors to decay to magenta within months. I've had this happen and it is embarassing. The Premium Semi-Gloss paper lasts more than a year before a bit of color change sets in on an exposed print. Actually, it lasts the best of several photo papers we have tried; that's why I just bought 10 packs. MAK

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent, inexpensive paper Hard to give this product a proper review because I usually use Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, Epson Premium Luster or Canson Baryta when printing with photo black ink but I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my Epson 3880 and I need an inexpensive paper test it with. It appears that my photo black ink is leaking and it ends up depositing blobs of black ink on the paper and contaminating the yellow ink. Looking past the mess of black ink the paper seems good and is inexpensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real good photo paper I have been using this paper for most all of my school project photos and I couldn't be happier. I consistently get good results. Color photos and B/W always turn out great. I have been using this paper on a Epson R2880 and have had great results. Yes I can recommend to all. I also recommend B&H Photo. They deliver on there products and service. I have purchased all sorts of photography related equipment and supplies and Im totally satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost as good as Epson Premium Luster P This is a more affordable solution to buying the Epson Premium Luster Photo paper. For luster like photo paper. I first suggest the Epson Premium Luster photo paper. Then if i cannot afford that, i will buy the Epson Premium Semi-gloss paper. This paper is similar but not quite as good. However i do think this paper is better than the basic Epson Glossy paper. It has a better surface.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Quality Paper I used this paper for a photography class. The paper is nice and thick and the finish is perfect. I am not personally a fan of glossy paper, I find that it gives too much of a glare to see the picture, however this has a nice level of gloss. Prints come out nicely, I'm very happy. Only drawback is that the pack only comes with 20 sheets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Student Printing I'm a Photography student at Marlboro college and I use Epson Semi-Gloss for all of my test and final printing. It's a nice paper and I would recommend it to students. My only qualm with it is that you have to handle it pretty gently or it'll get dimples.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using it for 4x5 prings= amazing This product is pretty straight forward, but using it for 4x5 prints has been really great! Semi-gloss is always a better option over glossy because the look of the paper isn't too shiny and overpowering - so the essence of the pring is really captured.
