Fujinon 16330653 reviews

10x70 FMT-SX Polaris Binocular is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from WHAT GREAT BINOCULARS !!!!!!! I bought these for Astronomy use to replace a cheap telescope. I am an industrial photographer who demands fine optics. A friend who writes for Astronomy Magazine told me good binoculars are a better investment than a cheap telescope and he was right. It's amazing what you can see with these and the eye relief is incredible. But what truly sold me is the hi-contrast and definition of objects. I use an adaptor to mount these on a tripod, as they do get heavy after extended use. These Binoculars were so impressive that I photographed them, for the book cover of touring the Universe through binoculars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Perfect for stargaze without tripod, if you have enough strenght to hold 2Kg for a while. The 10x magnification allows much more light gathering than the 16x version, so you'll be able to see very faint stars and star clusters. If you are under 40 y/o you might be able to enjoy the full 7mm exit pupil feature. However, if you prefer an extra magnification to explore specific objects like the messier ones, the best option will be the 16x version with tripod (mandatory for magnifications over 12x)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from top of the line binocular The binoculars has the best coating I have ever seen in a binocular, no ghost images, perfect contrast, very sharp, flat field, wide angle and rought feel, I think the best option less than 1000 dolls, Perfect por hunt DSOs and then watch at telescope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the very best Hi. Brought this in the UK a year ago. Excellent flat field, very good eye relief and large rear lenses. All of my fellow astronomers feel they have seen their best binocular views through this pair. Also have 7*50s which perform very well in daytime too. Recommend the 10*70s are tripod mounted. I use mine on a Parallelogram mount. Nothing negative to say about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eyeglass wearer's binocular These are wonderful binoculars. Long 23mm eye relief is great for eyeglass wearers. Military grade construction and quality optics. Especially good for long distance/low light/astronomy viewing. Flat field eyepieces mean every thing is in focus across the field of view. Individual focus, set it once and don't bother with it again. You can adjust the focus for things that are closer, but really, this is for stuff that's far away. You can get filters for it that screw into the eyepiece. Just unscrew the rubber eyepiece covers, screw on your filter and screw on the eyepiece covers. They are more expensive than many of the Astronomy binoculars of that size, but they are worth every penny. And they are about one half to of quarter the price of good Nikon, Zeiss and Leica glass.Pesky things.I only saw that filters were avaiable in the Fuji manual and not how to install the filters. I found out about how to install them on the internet. No big deal.Smelly paint. Not a bad smell, but a smell that you will notice. I have been airing mine out so they don't smell as strong now.Everything else is fine. Yay. Happy Camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice binos I use the binos for astronomy. I attach them to a parallel-gram binocular mount which fits into a tripod. The individual eyepiece focusers are very smooth. The image is sharp and bright. Adjusting the inter-pupil distance is smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Awesome Binoculars I purchased these high-powered binoculars for both terrestrial as well as space viewing. I really like the clarity and ease of use of the glasses. Some people may complain about the weight of the glasses, but they are big and that would be expected. For me they're just what I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Binocular with scratched objectives I bought it new two years ago from B and H. I use it mainly for astronomy. At that time, I did not check the objectives or eyepieces with any strong light. six months ago, I was cleaning it with my Giottos air and I used a flash light to check if all the dust had gone. I was shocked to find many scratches of both objective lenses. I haven't ever cleaned it and I did not need more than some air puffs from my Giottos air pump. I have not ever touched the objectives. I trusted B and H so much so I did not even think to check the glasses. It gives me good views but It would give me better without scratches.
