is this compatible with the RS-60E3 remote switch?

The poles of the cable are not compatible, if you would like to have more distance for your shutter release I would suggest using a wireless shutter release, Vello FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release Canon Sub-Mini Connection, B&H # VERWC1.

Will this work with a Rvlvr Labs Clutch Handle and the newer Z Cam E2 flagship cameras?

The RVLVR Right-Side Remote Clutch Handle with LANC Camera Control (Black Walnut) does operate on the LANC protocol, as does the ZCam E2 series, so communication should pass using the VariZoom LANC Zoom Lens Control Extension Cable (10').

How is this different from any other TRS cable ...

How is this different from any other TRS cable you might already have in your bag?

I use this 10 ft cable to extend my StealthZoom by VariZoom connection to my Canon VIXIA Camera. Works fine! A TRS cable shielded is just an extra benefit, blocking electronic noise. I would think it can be used in any TRS cable usage.
