Oriental Seagull Select VC FB Warmtone is a variable-contrast paper that controls finished tones through the use of filters. It enables a wide range of grades, from 00 to 5, to be handled with one type of paper.

Seagull Select Warmtone is made using double-weight baryta paper, which has warm brown tones comparable to those of high-quality photographic-portrait printing paper.

Seagull VCFBW DW Warmtone 11x14/50 Smooth Glossy is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rich and beautiful I use this for all of my landscape work generally with Ilford multigrade developer but often with Ethol LPD and occasionally Dektol. I like the Ethol Lpd best in dilutions of 1:2 thru 1:4 and this is my preferred fine print developer. The result is very deep D-max in a rich dark brown/black with quite creamy highlights. It likes full exposure and full development. Downside is lack of consistency in manufacture - occasional 'bad' batches but I have found B&H ready to replace these so, in the end, it's not a big problem for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Warm The warm tone is a different paper than your typical warm black tone papers like the late Agfa Portriga. The contrast is low and the whole paper looks like it has been sepia toned. Once you get used to this, the paper works beautifully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great in Selenium toner Developed in Ethol LPD 1:4, I found this paper to be a little flat. The base is a slight cream color, which gave the image a slight yellowish tint. However, toning for 3 min in selenium toner 1:4 converted it to lovely brown tones and deepened the blacks. Once selenium toned, I love this paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High resolution warm tone paper This paper gives very nice contrast and warm tones which beautifully match some low-light situations. It has a resolution as high as the normal tone B&W from Oriental, which for me are nowadays unsurpassed on commercial papers. The results are even better after Selenium toning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Paper! I am in love with this paper. I had never used warmtone before, and now I am a big fan. I used the paper to print portraits, and the warmtone and gloss worked really well for the skin tones and my high contrast style of printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paper I have been using Oriental papers for many years; the new warmtone is even better than before; I use highly dilute dektol and selektol soft for in bath times of 3-5 minutes and tone with selenium

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yummy warm tone I'm using this paper for my 4x5 view camera class and the images come out creamy and beautiful! My teacher recommend it to me and now I don't want to ever go back to regular black and white.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paper for Lith printing Great for Lith Printing process. Also a very nice general purpose warmtone paper. Responds to toners beautifully. The base is quite cream in colour, which isn't everbody's thing
