Hoya S-62PORTRAIT overview

  • 1Description

This 62 mm Portrait Glass Filter from Hoya is designed to enhance pink colors by reducing the yellow and orange colors and making neutral skin tones much more vivid. Combine with a UV filter when shooting under blue skies.

The portrait filter has a filter factor of 1.15, so you should increase your exposure by 1/5 of a stop to compensate. Light transmission benefits from the filter's single coating on each side of the glass which reduces reflections off the surface of the filter. The ring is made of aluminum adding strength and protection to the lens while is screwed on.

Single coating on both sides of the glass for better light transmission
Enhances pink colors and improves skin tones
Reduces orange and yellow colors
Aluminum ring for durability
Front threads allow filter stacking

    Hoya S-62PORTRAIT reviews

Portrait Glass Filter (62 mm) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product and Hoya I have 2 Hoya filters, and I am impressed with both. This does warm photos slightly, not a lot, which turns out to be a good thing. The build quality and for the etchings on this filter are very nice when attached to the camera or camcorder.
