    72-77mm Step-Up Ring (#141) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect if you want all 77mm attachments extremely solid and well made. the only things I neglected to think about were: 1) you, obviously, need a new lens cap :) and 2) the shrouds that come with your lens will not easily fit over the new, wider, mouth. so, you need to buy both of these to fit a 77 mm mouth... again, obviously :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Solid This is a solid chunk of metal. A little pricey, but well worth it. Feels much stronger than the typical aluminum step up rings, and it won't bind because it's made of solid brass. If your like me and you only like to buy things once its worth the expense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product My two favorite lenses are 72 and 77. Therfore with the step up all I need is one set of filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid This ring allows me to occasionally use the SinghRay Circular Polarizer I purchased for my Canon 28-300 L series lens on a Canon 20mm wide angle lens. The threads on both sides of this ring smoothly attach to both the lens and to the filter. The brass has a wonderfully solid and smooth feel. I always have a concern about the potential for cross threading. When I attach this ring to either the lens or the filter there is an immediacy of feedback which makes me feel very confident that the threads are correctly aligned and won't be crossed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Filter Standardization Project I've decided to standardize on 77mm filters going forward. That way I need to buy only one of each color/type. I have no plans to buy or use any lens using filters larger than 77mm. I'll use step-up rings to adapt the filters to those lenses I use that use smaller diameter filters. this Step-up ring is a quality item and I've rated it at '5' for that reason.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not seeing the value Works, is durable. I bought this because my inexpensive, aluminum Cavision step-up would lock up with the filter. I thought buying brass would help deter this. I used it with a Heliopan brass ND filter and also with a B&W brass Polarizer--it occurred with both. It is a nice product, just not for the money. Save your cash, buy a spare $10< stepup ring. These steups never seem to stick to the camera so you can use the spare when you want to change filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will only have to buy this once. This step-up ring is more expensive than others, but since it is brass, it won't bind and get stuck on my lens or filter. I use a Vari ND filter, and don't want to buy 2, so this is perfect for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicest ones around I like the feel of the brass construction on Heliopan filters and step-up rings. They seem less prone to seizing too. If you want the best, this is it.
