Shure SM7B Reviews
Absolutely blown away!
Best podcasting/voice-over microphone ever! No background noise, even when people are loudly talking in the next room. The audio is so beautiful, that I hardly need to do any work retouching it. This has streamlined my workflow and saved me hours and hours of time.
B&H Done it again!!!
As a longtime repeated customer B&H remains TOP NOTCH with their customer service, products and customer identification security. I highly recommend B&H to everyone. Thank you B&H
Great sound, and everything you need
The SM7B does a great job dampening low frequency sounds in noisy apartments, and the Cloudlifter more than gives you enough power to achieve clear vocals without any hum. Plus, two cables. Boom.
Finally, My Recordings Are Good
Not a professional, but I like to release the occasional YouTube video, and I wanted to do voice-overs. Started out with a Rode PodMic and a Moto M2. My voice sounded terrible! I wasn't sure where the problem was, so I tried adding a Cloudlifter; no luck. Next I swapped in the Shure SMB7, and that completely fixed the problem. FYI, I needed to keep using the Cloudlifter to get loud enough recordings. Finally, I am happy with my setup.
Clear recording
I got this microphone for a podcast I wanted to start. I put all the equipments together and it sounded amazing a very clear. I enjoyed getting this mic and the sound quality was better than expected.
Excellent Voice Quality
I own a radio station and perform my shows on location with guests. I have 3 of the Shute SM-78s and the voice quality is fantastic. With the Cloudlifter kit, live on-air, podcasts and recordings with guests sounds amazing.
The industry standard
This is the mic to have if you're serious about professional recording. It's everything I hoped it would be and more.
Excellent - as advertised
Everyone says this is the best mic on the market. They're right as far as I'm concerned. The sound is awesome, creamy smooth, perfect for podcasting. You do have to re-position the bracket to use in a stand, as it comes set for a boom, but the YouTube video explained that well and made that a simple task.
