Yes, the Sony 16-50mm has a 40.5 mm thread on the front of the lens. You will need to use the Sensei 40.5-37mm Step-Down Ring if you are looking to connect the Kenko SGW-05 37mm 0.5x Wide Angle Converter Lens to the camera.
