This filter made a big difference in the pictures I took this time around and the visibility wasn't even as good as last time. Can't wait to go diving again in better conditions to see what I can really capture!Only con is that the black plastic detaches from the red lens and you have to readjust it - it's no big deal. I don't think this should happen for $. I also wish it had some kind of drawstring case to protect it.

question

Is it UR/PRO glass / optic plastic? Would that work on a rx100 m2 meikon housing? It has a 67mm thread but also the outside of the port is about 3 inches so my guess is that it should stick.. please confirm.
Asked by: Anonymous
It will be made of an optical-grade resin, no glass. We do not carry the Meikon housing so we cannot say whether it will fit properly or not. The manufacturer would be best suited to answer that part.

question

I am going diving/snorkeling in the Caribbean - Aruba specifically - when you say blue water is that what you'd call Caribbean water?
Asked by: Anonymous
Blue water color correction filters are used in the Caribbean and other warm saltwater locations. Green water filters are for use in freshwater and northern cold saltwater.
