question

How does it work with canon 60D?
Asked by: Anonymous
This is a great mic that I have used many times. I have used it on a boom, professional video camera, and even handheld. If you were going to use this with a 60D you would need a XLR to 3.5mm connector or cable. This mic might also be a bit too long to mount on the camera as it is meant to be used with a boom or professional video camera. I recommend this mic but usually with larger video cameras or other accessories.

question

Is the shock mount included with the Azden SGM-1X able to be fitted onto a boom pole?
Asked by: Samuel E.
The mount can go in a hot shoe and also be screwed on to anything that uses a 1/4-20 screw. I believe it can also mount to a larger thread but I'm not too sure about that.

question

I have zoom h6, is it a good choice to be used with zoom h6
Asked by: Nilutpal M.
Hello Nilutpal. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the SGM-1X Professional Shotgun Microphone. To answer your question, yes. The SGM-1X is most certainly compatible to use with the Zoom H6. Please note that the SGM-1X is not a phantom-powered microphone, it requires battery power. The XLR is just output only, so you can't power the mic from the H6. But, if you're looking for an XLR microphone to use with a Zoom H6, the SGM-1X is a good choice. If you want the flexibility of a mic with battery OR phantom power, consider our SGM-250 Dual-Powered Shotgun Microphone.
