Is there a mount available for a cell phone?

Is there a mount available for a cell phone?
Asked by: Karen
There is no cell phone mount included with the tripod. You could however buy any generic cell phone mount designed to attach to a tripod. You would want cell phone mount that's has a standard 1/4 inch screw hole.

Is a Nikon D810 too much for this little baby? (Too heavy? With a 24-120 lens, the 810 weighs under 5 lbs. Max weight for the tripod is 6, but ???)
Asked by: R.W.
The legs themselves would support the weight, but the built-in ball head would not.

Could you mount a flash to this somehow?
Asked by: Trisha
Depending on the flash, yes. you would need 1/4 to cold shoe adaptor if the flash didn't have a 1/4 mount.

question

I have this tripod and it works great. Does anyone have a solution for mounting a camera in portrait orientation? My normal L bracket does not have a screw mount on that side and simply rotating the ball head does not work because the camera is too heavy.

To add to the previous answer, I've added an Arca-Swiss clamp to my Pedco tripod. That allows me to quickly attach my camera with any type of Arca mount, plate or L-bracket. And when I have an L-Bracket it means portrait orientation is no problem at all.
