Rated 2 out of 5 by from Must be a bad run of these things.... I own the Hakuba 4-slot SD card holder model DMSP-SD4 and love it. However, this item, which is similar, must be having a bad manufacturing run. The case is sturdy and snaps fine, but the SD Card trays will not hold the media. Out of the 8 slots, only one held a card relatively snug. I fitted all the slots with SD cards, closed the case, and opened it up to find the cards out of their slots. So two stars for defective product. However, B&H gets 5 stars for not only accepting my refund request (and within the same day), they emailed saying no need to return, just throw it away! B&H is a class act.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I actually bought this on a whim as I was purchasing two additional SD cards and already had enough storage.I just figured it'd come in handy at some time.My initial impressions were quite good because unlike another case I have from a well known manufacturer, this one opens quickly and easily and also fastens equally as securely as my other one.All in all for the price the ergonomics and style are great.I know its just a simple SD card case but you'd be surprised what attention to detail can do for a simple item such as this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellence as expected and received ! It's a simple little SD Card holder, but it's worth it's weight in gold! Keeps the SD cards snug and in order, the hard case is excellent for storage( and not worry about crushing or losing the cards). Compact yet holds a lot, very handy for carrying with, or storing SD cards for later use and not worry about their condition! Nothing can be said about the case that is wrong or bad, it's a wonderful simple thing to have for storage of your SD cards! I would recommend to any one for safe storage of their SD cards, especially if they value what's on them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy product A couple of years ago, I but this product. It has held up quite well to use and being carried around in pockets and waist packs. I have not had any problems with the SD lock switches getting broken which was reported an another reviewer. Because of my satisfaction with this product, I ordered two more: another one for me and one for my parents. They are quite happy with the case as well. It also holds the cards in very well so they don't fall out when opened.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap I bought this brand 2 years ago. It was waterproof and solid. This one is not, and doesn't claim to be, but I expected more. This feels like something disposable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Tight Enough Having had 2 Hakuba cases for CF cards, I had hoped for similar protection for SDHC cards - but the cut-outs are not quite snug enough to hold the dards securly when the case is dropped resulting in loose cards when the case is opened.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks Pins BEWARE! This card case has small protrusions on the insideof each slot that line up with the lock pin of SanDiskcards. A few times inserting the cards can cause the lockpin to break off. So far, two of my cards have been ruined. Other than this problem, this are nice cases. Problems Encountered: Might possibly ruin memory cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great media card case from Kakub I've owned several of Hakuba's media card cases and I've loved every one of them. I purchased my first in April 2003 and it's still working great, so these cases really are built well. The new SD card case I'm reviewing here is just as good as my older ones. The cards fit snugly in the case liner's slots, and the case closes and snaps shut securely. The case is probably a little heavy when you consider how light the cards are, but I'm willing to tolerate their weight in the camera bag for the quality of the protection they provide for my cards.
