question

I just bought the Cobra Crane 5033 Backpackerwill the crane's quick release plate work on this head or do I need to buy an adapter (if it exists)?
Asked by: Derek L.
Why not just use the plates that go come with the sticks? That's what I've always done.

question

I have a rebel t5i and just got this tripod. The quick release plate blocks my battery door. I have found ways to adjust it so that can open, but am wondering if there are any other fluid head tripods that are as good, but have plates that better fit my camera. Any ideas?
Asked by: Melvin V.
I am afraid this is a fairly common issue. Most tripods, particularly the Provista are rather wide thus causing this problem. The Glide Gear 650 Camera Tripod with Fluid Head might be narrow enough to help. You might consider using a grip to get longer run times out of your batteries. Canon BG-E8 Battery Grip for EOS Rebel T2i, T3i, T4i & T5i. Or finally, you might consider using a cage for it may give enough clearance. Opteka CXS-500 X-Cage Pro with Handgrip and 15mm Rod System for DSLR Cameras.
