The power and aperture combination translates to a generous field of view and an impressive exit pupil that helps to mitigate the disorientation common when looking through binoculars on rolling or rough water, or the appearance of the visible hand-shake associated with high-power optics. Its traditional Porro prism optical path provides a rich depth of field to clearly see the difference between near and distant objects, while a proprietary floating prism system absorbs the force from drops or knocks to protect the prisms and their alignment.

Designed with a moderate magnification and large objectives, the Steiner Optics 7x50 Marine Binoculars is an ideal choice for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and boaters.

For ease-of-use the Marine is outfitted with Steiner's Sports-Auto-Focus system that enables each eyepiece to be individually focused to ensure the sharpest views possible. The chassis is made of Makrolon polycarbonate which is corrosion, impact and temperature-resistant, and the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof even in extreme weather conditions. Whether in the wild outdoors or on the rolling seas, the Marine binocular will be your constant companion for all your glassing needs.

Optical Performance

  • Moderate 7x magnification

  • 356' field of view at 1000 yards
  • Exceptionally wide 7.1mm exit pupil ensures complete pupil coverage when fully-dilated in low-light to eliminate vignetting
  • Long 20mm eye relief

  • 56-74mm interpupillary distance adjustment range

  • When up, the eyecups seal into eye socket to reduce peripheral light interference which can reduce image brightness

question

Does Steiner make a comparable binocular for the trail?
Asked by: Anonymous
I'm sure they do. Go to steiner web site, find what your looking for, then shop for closeouts or promo pricing for that particular model. The marine 7x50 is a good all around bino, a tad large for hiking, the predator pro 8x42 may suit trail or hunting needs better. Pocket models are offered as well.
