Kodak 1956176 reviews

Professional Film Cement 1 Pint is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save 90% On Clean & Fast Film Splices I have used Kodak Film Cement to splice 16MM movies for 35 years. The bad news is that for the first 10 years I bought it in half-ounce bottles, not realizing it cost 90% less in pint cans. After switching to pints, I found out the hard way that this is more a solvent than a glue: it dissolves acetate and other plastics. So you can't keep it in a plastic container or apply it with a nylon-bristled brush (if you expect to use the brush again). Since learning that lesson, I have made permanent, invisible splices at a tenth of the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kodak Professional Film Cement I have recently made additions to a small 16mm film collection. I thought it wise to resume using cement splices as opposed to tape splices.I've been splicing film for 50 years, and have tried every brand of cement. I always return to Kodak. B&H offers pints of Kodak Cement at an attractive price ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Film Cement glad to find happy to find B&H have film cement at good price and quantity. this stuff can be difficult to find nowadays in the often pretentious digital business world. so glad B&H supplies the tools for film production. product is fresh and works as it should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A necessity for splicing home movies You need this - seemingly unique - product to splice those old 25 foot reels of home movie film together. IT would be better if there is a smaller size package to buy - I have enough with a pint to supply the whole neighborhood. The fumes might be toxic - the label should say something to address whether or not this is a factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cement This is fantastic stuff. Normally it costs about $10 for a tiny bottle of this stuff, but this was so cheap compared to that. It holds extremely well. I will be editing many a film with this.
