Motorola 56320 Overview

The Motorola Earpiece with Boom Microphone offers a convenient way to speak and listen without having to hold your two-way radio. Designed to meet the high standards of the most critical, this earpiece is lightweight with a flexible design making mic placement virtually unlimited. Can be used hands-free with VOX-capable Motorola two-way radios, or use the radios.

The Push-To-Talk (PTT) button activates the microphone making it easier to hear in noisy or hushed environments. Earpiece fits on the outside of either ear and the boom mic bends for easy positioning.

Compatible with Spirit GT Series and Talkabout FR50/60, TA280/289, T5***, and T6*** radios.

I recommend the earpiece that has good sound quality, as well as the headset and the microphone boom. Not recommended for noisy environments. The only thing I could add to make it fully functional, serious: PTT button.

The sound clarity on the earpiece is great, but it really isn't much use unless you're sitting still at a desk. The design makes it hard to position on some ears (if you can get it to stay on at all), and it seems all but impossible to keep the mic boom in position. If you're moving around a lot, the mic tends to flop all over the place. If a person were to wear a stocking cap that held the earpiece firmly in place, this could be the perfect hands-free set for their radio. Otherwise, it's not much good in a work environment. Probably great for use in a vehicle.

Sound quality good, not great, in noisy, musical environment. A bit uncomfortable to wear. Occasionally reverted to VOX for unknown reasons. Overall a good product that gave good performance.

WILL THIS DEVICE WORK FOR A POCKET TALKER?? I AM LOOKING FOR HOOKS THAT FIT OVER THE EAR FOR HIS EARBUDS THAT CAME WITH THE POCKET TALKER???

No, this Motorola earpiece will not work with the Pocketalker. The Pocketalker uses a mono earphone or headset with a mono 1/8 (3.5mm) plug which does not have a built-in microphone or push to talk button. You can use the Williams Sound EAR 008 single-sided earphone (B&H # WIEAR008) or EAR 022 surround earphone (B&H # WIEAR022), which both hang on the outside of the ear and are designed to work with the Pocketalker.
